Guriú is also a popular starting point for downwind adventures, including trips to Tatajuba or further along the coast.

The wind in Guriú is very consistent and strong during the windy season (July to January), with averages ranging from 18 to 30 knots. The wind is typically side-onshore, making the conditions ideal and safe for kitesurfing. These steady winds allow for riding with medium to small kites, ensuring long and enjoyable sessions. Guriú is highly regarded for its stable wind and perfect conditions for extended, uninterrupted rides.
